About DriftingPhotographer: Photography by Matt Mitgang

Specializing in sports and news photography, Matt Mitgang has been taking pictures since the Fall of 2005 as a staff photographer for his high school yearbook. Since then, he was appointed photo editor of both his high school news magazine and yearbook. During his high school years, Matt covered various sports and events year round. Matt received an "excellent" rating from the JEA/NSPA in high school sports photography. Matt is currently a freshman at Washington University in St. Louis where he holds the position of Sports Photo Editor for the independent student newspaper. Matt is majoring in mechanical engineering.
